1983 (dated from serial number) Holdsworth era Claud Butler Majestique Road Racing Touring Bike with Reynolds 531 frame and forks. In great condition, with loads of original parts. Bought from a family friend who had it from new and clearly cared for it. Fully cleaned up and in perfect riding condition.
Frame: 20 inch (small) Reynolds 531 frame and forks with no dents or damage. The original owner had the bike professionally resprayed. There are a few paint chips and scratches, mainly on the top tubes. I’ve added replica decals, which, although not original, match the new colour scheme.
Drivetrain: Silstar 50/36 chainring and cranks, MKS AR-2 pedals, original Suntour twin front derailleur, original Suntour VX 5 rear derailleur, 6 speed cassette, original Suntour down tube levers. All in beautiful condition working perfectly.
Brakes: Original Weinmann 610/750 centre pull brakes, plenty of life left in the pads. Original Weinmann levers. The hoods had cracked so I removed them.
Wheels: Milremo/Normandy quick release hubs, Mistral rims, brand new vintage style tyres.
Components: Original Italia seat with a couple of tiny scratches. Original stem and bars, new bar tape. Original Chromoplastic full length mudguards in excellent condition.
