Avenir (by Raleigh) Perform Road Racing Bike 47cm frame (small mens/large boys) RRP £409 VGC – £125 This was a great first road bike for my son, but unfortunately he grew about 12″ in 1 year so its already too small. Only used over one Summer and in fair weather. Would make a great Christmas present. I’ve posted some photos with rough measurements. Most road bike frame guides use the effective top as the key measurement, but I think on this occasion they are using the seat tube as it is about 47cm taking my own measurement. The effective top tube on this bike is about 51cm. I have weighed on bathroom scales so not fully scientific, but it came to 11kg.Still for sale new on Amazon at £375.
