BIANCHI ITALI NIRONE 7 ROAD RACE BIKE CARBON FLAT BAR CONVERSION

It has a 59cm aluminium frame. This is
the A1 measurement. The AS is 56cm (this is the length of
the seat tube) – please refer to geometry jpg if in doubt. I’m 6’2″ with
34″ inside leg and it was very comfortable for me. Bianchi describe the
forks as ‘carbon’ but the crown is aluminium (see below).
In the time that I used it, I upgraded the wheels to
Campagnolo Khamsin, both Tiagra derailleurs are new I upgraded
the bottom bracket to Ultegra BB-R60. Of course it’s had a couple of new
chains, tyres, cables, a new chain ring and all the usual consumable
parts. I rode it all year round and in all weathers, so the bottom bracket
upgrade was a must. I also put in ‘Slime’ self-sealing inner tubes because the
roads As it stands it is ready to ride. Everything does what it
is supposed to smoothly but because of the time it’s spent unused, I’m sure it
would benefit from a service.
It has the inevitable marks associated with its age and
use including corrosion to steel bolt-heads and brake springs. But overall it
looks in excellent condition, clean and tidy (it was regularly cleaned and
serviced). The only noticeable fault is the cosmetic deterioration of the
forks. The paint has blistered on the aluminium crown (see photos) but does not affect use. Replacement would be an easy fix if the
appearance bothers you.
