The BMC Streetracer SR02 2011 Road Bike is a showcase of BMC technological skill. The hydroformed tubes and straight edge carbon forks come together to make a very high performing alloy based race bike. The Shimano groupset finish this bike off to make a very competitive and fitness enhancing road bike.
My very well looked after BMC SR02 street racer. Incredibly lightweight Swiss built and designed road racing bike.
A lot has been spent on aftermarket parts including handle bars, stem, seat post, carbon seat and wheels, all in the pursuit of performance.
There are signs of wear and tear, a few scuffs and scrapes etc but that’s mainly due to its age and transportation to events. It has been stored indoors it’s entire life.
This set up includes a road racer 2 mud guard set, rechargeable LED slim rear light, shimano SPD clip on pedals and continental gatorskin/ultra tyres.
The bike has been professionally maintained by my cycling club and serviced regularly. It has been used for training on local long distance rides (hence the mudguards etc) and has never let me down. It’s still firm, fast and very sharp. This is far more than a basic Halfords starter bike.
