Boardman Comp fi Women’s / Ladies Road Bike.
This bike is one of the latter models so is spec’d with SRAM Apex gearing and a selection of Boardman components as well as a pair of Mavic CXP 22 Wheels. Boardman are known for the quality of the frames and components but moreover their superb looks, the ‘pink and white’ colour scheme is extremely popular. The bike has incredible kerb appeal and rides as well as it looks. This model, in this particular colour scheme is very sought after, especially when the bike is in such good condition. The white and pink Boardmans are always a very good seller and as such also hold their value very well. It’s a really good bike, that would be equally good for a novice or experienced cyclist.
The bike comes fitted with a double compact (50 – 34) chainset which is enhanced by the 32-tooth (wide ranging) rear cassette, thus allowing a huge variety of gears. The SRAM gearing is different to that of Shimano (or Campagnolo) as you only use one lever to change gear. The result of this great build is an exceptional bike that offers very good performance.
Condition is used (lightly), in full working order, excellent condition and just serviced. It has a some minor paint chips on the top and down tube by the bottle holder from clumsy storage which have been carefully touched with matching enamel paint, other than that it’s fantastic. This bike is in excellent condition as it has hardly been used and only then in the dry, it has never been taken out in the wet, it has been stored on a bike rack in our garage. You can see from the condition of the brake blocks, pedals, saddle, bar tape, quick releases and derailers that this has hardly been used and never had an accident or been dropped. This is a great light bike for getting into road riding, it was purchased with all the best intentions but now it’s time for someone to use it properly.
