For sale is my Boardman Comp X7 Road Bike, I believe this is the 2016-17 version. With my road bike being stuck in wales (travel ban) I purchased this 6 months ago to use throughout last of lockdown. With restrictions eased, I am able to get my bike thus a reluctant sale. The seller owned from new but had hardly been ridden at all with everything as stock and new. 58cm frame – ideal for 6ft to 6ft4Reluctant sale because this bike has been really good and surpassed my expectations. It is a triple-butted aluminium frame and carbon forks, which soak up the road chatter well but feel stiff. The stock wheels have sealed bearings and feel fast for unbranded wheels. The TRP Spyre mechanical brakes are the best mechanical brakes on the market, with better stopping power over rim brakes. Other mechanical road disc brakes (bb5, bb7) are useless. Vittoria pro 25mm tyres are fast and I have no punctures on them. Shimano Sora groupset (derailleurs / shifters) provide a quality and reliable setup. 11-30 cassette is perfect for steeper hills.Everything is stock. It will come with some flat pedals, not the pedals in photo. It will come with the Pro bottle cage.Full spec: Fame:Triple Butted X7 Alloy with smooth weldsFork:Full Carbon with Tapered SteererStem:Boardman Alloy, 31.8mm +/- 7 degree riseBars:Boardman Alloy Drop BarFront Brake:TRP Spyre Disc BrakesRear Brake:TRP Spyre Disc BrakesFront Mech:Shimano SoraRear Mech:Shimano SoraShifters:Shimano SoraSpeed:18Rims:DBRD-1 – 32 HoleFront Tyre:Vittoria Zaffiro 700x25cRear Tyre:Vittoria Zaffiro 700x25cSeat Post:Boardman Alloy, 31.6x350mmChainset:FSA Velo 50-34tBottom Bracket:FSA, Cartridge, Square TaperCassette:Shimano CS-HG50-9, 11-30TPedals:Basic Resin FlatWeight:10.1kgConditionIn good condition for age, as was hardly ridden by previous owner. It does have some scratches on frame drive side, which I have tried to capture. This is not a result of a crash; a friend’s new puppy scratched the frame when I visited. It is not noticeable unless close up, but worth me detailing. It has the odd other mark or so on frame and wheels. I used to work as a bike mechanic, and have looked after the bike. I will ensure  brakes / gears are dialled in for new owner. The rear tyre is more worn than front, but will still see you through 1000’s of kms. Collection / PostageCollection from BS15 3FH, cash or bank transfer preferredI can post, and cost includes getting a bike bikeLet me know if you have any questions
