Boardman Road Race Bike 2013- for repairs or spares.
Bike has been well-used and has been in the garage for a couple of years which is reflected in the condition of the bike.
Aluminium frame and carbon forks- a fair few scratches and small marks but nothing major. Some cracks on the paintwork. Some rust around a few bolts.
9 speed Sora gears (gear cables fairly new- needs re-adjusting). Frame barrel adjusters are seized. Light scuffs on shifters.
Tektro brakes (rear brake needs a new cable)
Drive train has been hardly ridden: new style Sora cranks, fairly new Shimano SPD SL pedals (scuffs on right pedal). Both derailleurs and the chain have hardly been ridden. Threaded BB- hardly used.
Mavic Aksium wheels- some life left in them but fairly worn as are the tyres.
Saddle is tatty and seat post is stuck inside frame.
Needs new bar tape.
Includes Elite bottle cages, Garmin sensors and out-front mount.
Ideally needs a good clean up and a service- or could just use the parts. Selling to make space in the garage and have bought new bikes.
