Up for sale is my Boardman Road Sport racing bike. I’ve had the bike since 2014 (when I purchased it brand new) and the intention was to use it for weekend cycling, but I never really took to it so the bike has only been used a few times and then it’s been stored in a dry garage since, hence why it’s now up for sale.
The bike cost me over £500 new and the specs are:
-56cm lightweight alloy frame (medium size);
-16 speed shimano gears;
-700c Mavic CXP22 wheels;
-Front and rear Tektro R359 dual pivot calliper brakes.
As the bike has only been used a couple of times the condition is outstanding and it is genuinely in as new condition, with good tyres, paint and mechanics. It’s totally original as it left the factory and I’ve fitted traditional style toe clips with leather straps to it.
The bike has also had a full service in the last month to make sure that it’s mechanically perfect before it went up for sale. The bike is located in Lichfield (12 miles North of Birmingham city centre) and the auction is collection only, or the bike can be packaged if you want to arrange a courier. If you have any questions about the bike please don’t hesitate to ask. Viewing can be arranged on weekdays (after 5) or any time on the weekend. As this bike is advertised elsewhere I reserve the right to end the auction early.
