This listing is for my Boardman Team Carbon road bike in Medium (53.5cm). The bike is in excellent condition and everything works exactly as it should. The bike also benefits from a major wheel upgrade in the form of Fulcrum Racing Quattros with 35mm deep rims and Michelin Pro 4 SC tyres. The groupset is a Shimano 105/Tiagra mix, with FSA Gossamer double chainset and BB30 bottom bracket. The bike is very light indeed, coming in at just over 8Kg complete. This has been my second bike and has probably covered well under 1000 miles. Frame size is 53.5cm (Medium) and is set top for me at 5’11” as you see it in the photos. If it was my main bike and I wanted to shed more weight I’d upgrade the saddle, bars, stem and seat post from the stock items- this would easily bring it down under 7.5kg with the right components. The bike rides superbly, is very comfortable for those longer rides and is an excellent climbing bike. NOTE the fitted 10 speed cassette will be changed to an 11-30 or 11-28 (your choice)- in the pics it has an 11-34 fitted, but the rear 105 derailleur won’t swallow quite enough chain to allow smooth operation in the small/small combination. Nobody rides in that combination anyway (Hopefully!) but the bike would need a medium cage derailleur to run an 11-34 cassette perfectly. A lovely bike, one that has consistently gained top reviews in the cycling press- in fact the only mild criticism was the basic stock Mavic wheels, but with Racing Quattros, that little niggle is well gone.The bike is located in Ormskirk, West Lancs and must be collected. I will not post/courier so please don’t ask. Cash on collection please, as I cannot post. A small Paypal deposit would be welcome if you can’t collect for a while.
