The frame is a super light, triple butted smooth welded aluminium with a full carbon fork weighing in at a quoted 9.04kg.
The front and rear derailleur and shifters are all shimano 105.
The bike is in great condition and I’ve done quite a few miles on it. I’ve just put a new schwalbe marathon tyre on the back with only 50 or so miles on it, it’s a great tyre for puncture protection but quite heavy as a result. I’ve also recently re wrapped the handlebars in a new tape that is super soft and comfortable. It’s great to ride and really contemporary feeling considering it’s 11 years old now. It comes across as quite a traditional bike aesthetically but with the carbon straight fork and the teardrop tapered tubing in the frame it’s definitely very modern feeling. The wheels are strong and light weight and look great with the aero spokes.
It’s a great bike that’s done me well in the time I’ve had it, I’m just after a gravel bike now.
