Welcome to the very reluctant auction of my Cannondale CAAD 8 Claris road bike.
Frame size 56cm fits me perfect, I’m 5’11”
Really enjoyed owning this bike, found it to be very comfortable and fast, only reason for selling is due to upgrade to carbon frame and unfortunately don’t have space to keep this one, otherwise would use as a winter/training bike.
Generally in excellent condition, has a few age related scuffs on the front due to cable rub and also on one of the brake levers but otherwise no damage or dents to the frame.
It has 700x17c wheels aero wheels with Quando sealed hubs, which replaced the originals as they were a bit on the heavy side, these upgraded wheels will happily take a 25c tyre with plenty of frame and brake calliper clearance if desired and have only covered a few hundred miles
The bike has also been checked over at the end of every ride by myself so know it’s in good working order for the next journey, used at least twice a week to work and back about forty miles round trip, tnen the weekend ride of anything up to 100 miles with no issues, gears all run smoothly and have found the brakes to be more than efficient.
Upgraded the standard wheels to Madspeed7 Aero wheels with 20 spokes front/24 rear with 8 speed 11-28 cassette

Colagno carbon forks with plenty of adjustment to handlebars if required
