I’m selling my lovely CAAD8, as just switched to carbon. This was my first proper road bike, bought from new and used as my summer bike for the last six years. It’s light, super-comfortable, and brilliant to ride. The
bike is in very good used condition, fully working, with no rust, but
the usual paint knocks as expected for a used bike. As you can see in the
pictures, this is an extra-large 61cm frame, so will suit someone who is six foot plus
(photos show it set up for me at 6’4″).I’ve returned the bike back to its original configuration for the sale. It has 10 speed Tiagra derailleurs, Cannondale C4 cockpit and an FSA 50/34 compact crank. The cassette is 10 speed 12-28. The only changes I’ve made are the replacement of the saddle with a Fizik (original broke), replacement rear hub and right shifter (upgraded to a 105). Of course its had replacement cassette, cables, chain, tyres, etc. The left shifter is now a triple, works properly with the double crank (including trimming) but could take a triple crank if you wanted to upgrade. The wheels are in good condition with little brake track wear (I used different wheels for most of its life), and the 25mm Maxxis Padrone tyres are virtually new. Everything works well, including shifting, with recent cables and housings.This is a great endurance/training bike, serving me well on quite a few 100 mile sportives, it will even take mudguards with 23mm tyres.Road pedals not included, but I have some flats or touring pedals if you need.
