Specification and condition:48cm frame – from centre bottom bracket to top of seat tube. Suitable for smaller riders from 5′ to 5′ 6″. Stand over height from ground to top of top tube 70cm. Cannondale CAAD 5 aluminium TIG welded in USA frame with glossy black paint and orange/yellow detail. Frame has normal signs of wear and tear – contact with cables and chain etc. No dents or anything structural.Cannondale Slice Ultra Carbon Forks with Aluminium steerer.Dura-Ace rear mech. Ultegra front mech and brakes. Brake lever lacquer is crazed in appearance but only cosmetic – see photo. All gears and brakes work as they should. 650c Race lite wheels with Bontrager race lite hubs and bladed aero spokes. Rear wheel was completely replaced with new after buckling. Continental Ultra Gatorskin 23mm tyres. Included are 4 boxed new 650c spare inner tubes. Both wheels are true and smooth running.Selle San Marco men’s saddle, Thomson seat post, A1 stem and bars, fresh new bar tape just added.Basic pedals and bottle cage are included.Bike weighs approx 7.5kg as shown with pedals!Provenance:This bike has some interesting history. It was supplied as a sponsor bike by Cannondale to a GB triathlete in the early 2000’s. Looking for a small, fast, light bike, I bought two 650c bikes from her – this R2000 and an R2001 in approx 2004. The R2001 I gave to my niece (5′ tall) who subsequently became Duathlon age group world champion in Barcelona.The R2000 therefore had all the upgrades that Cannondale could throw at it, hence the group-set and wheels. I am 5′ 5″ tall and happily used the R2000 as a training bike in 2004 – 2006 but then gave up triathlon. It mostly hung in the garage since and now I need to create some space.If you are a smaller, aspiring road cyclist or triathlete this bike will do you proud.Can be collected from Kenilworth near Warwick after payment clears.
