It is also superbly stable on down hills. Most cables are routed within the frame, making for a beautiful bike with a very crisp look and less maintenance aggravation.Disc brakes are always reliable with no lag in the wet. I have never had to adjust the brakes unlike the old rim-brakes.700x25c slim racing tyres.What I like most about this bike: Shimano 105 gears. These gears are fast, positive to change and a step-up from anything I have previously experienced. I would not consider buying a new bike without the Shimano 105 gear set.22 gears cover all my needs including riding up the famous Ditchling Beacon which made me feel a little guilty when most other riders had gotten off long before the top.When I first bought this bike, I spent far more than I had intended but don’t regret the decision to buy quality in return for all the fun and enjoyment this bike has given me.
