Bought in 2014 for my then 8 year old to ride around the tour de france route in Yorkshire, though it was a bit big for him. My current 12 year old has sat on this recently and it seemed OK for him too. So I think it suits approx 8 to 12 years.
A few signs of age just through storage in a shed all these years (surface rust on some of the components- brake nuts and springs, cassette, chain, maybe the tyres need replacing) but the actual miles used are incredibly low, maybe 50 to 70 miles, so there is very little wear.
