Carrera Virtuoso LTD road race racing
sportive triathlon bike – nice!
High quality Carrera road bike that
is ideal for general road riding, triathlon, sportive or even communing. It has
a few marks and scuffs but as you can see from the pictures it’s in nice
condition.
This is a good entry level road bike
and it has been upgraded with Carbon blade forks (the original steel ones were
heavy and a poor ride), and a Bontrager handlebar stem (to get a good riding
position). It will come with pedals to get you going.
Specification:
Frame: 6061-T6 heat treated aluminium
Fork: Commencal carbon blade
Transmission: Shimano 16 speed – compact 50-34 chainset
(the cranks have been resprayed as they had a lot of show rub on the original
finish)
Bakes: Tektro dual pivot calipers
Wheels: alloy hubs and rims, Schwalbe Stelvio 700c tyres
Finishing
kit: lightweight alloy bars / stem / seatpost and a San Marco saddle
(a little scuffed on the corners.
Size: 48cm (measured centre to top) – this should fit a rider 4’
11” to 5’ 2”
Collection only: 5 miles from J18 M25 or I can meet you at Chalfont
and Latimer station (Metropolitan or Chiltern line).
