Here we have for sale a beautiful Carrera Zelos Road Racing Bike.
This is in fantastic condition & is mechanically perfect having just had a bare frame strip & (gold) service (worth £150 alone) by myself (an expert bike mechanic) using top quality Mobil XHP marine grease & has a new chain, upgraded Sunrace Fluid Drive chain-set, fully sealed Shimano bottom bracket, new high quality anti puncture Continental Gaitorskin tyres, new upgraded triple compound cartridge brake pads, new headset bearings, new gear cables, high quality upgraded DMR V8 alloy flat pedals (freshly serviced & super smooth with new bearings) & luxurious new bar tape fitted.
Equipment wise it comes with excellent Shimano Tourney STI shifters which work beautifully, high power tektro dual pivot brakes with Tourney front & rear mechs (the shifting is superb) & a high quality finishing kit (bars,seat,seatpost & stem) which all adds up to a great package.
The bike has lightweight 6061 profiled aluminium tubing, Carbon steel aero forks & DRC double wall rims with high quality fast rolling Continental Gaitorskin tyres (worth £60) fitted.
The frame size is 21”/54cm which has racing style compact geometry. The bike rides beautifully & wants for nothing, you won’t be disappointed & will not find a better example rest assured.
The bike benefits from having a fully degreased drivetrain & chain which has been hot wax/PTFE dipped in market leading Molten Speed Wax which unlike oil stops all the gunk build up, chainring tattoos & prevents premature drivetrain wear due to chain oil mixing with grit & turning into a grinding paste.
It has an 12-28cassette & 50-34-170 (compact) chain set which is geared for great climbing ability mixed with plenty of speed on the flats.
Every bike which goes through my workshop is subject to a vigorous 10 mile road test to ensure perfect performance & reliability so you can buy with complete confidence.
I can supply & fit a set of reflectors & a bell to this bike at no extra cost if required (just ask).
