Classic Vintage Raleigh Record Road Race Bike circa 1978, very good quality and all original. Overall, this bike is in good condition as for a 40 years old bike, brakes and gears are working really well, frame is in great condition with two or three tiny spots of rust just on the surface, fork is in mint condition and so are 28” Alloy Wheels, the seat is a bit ripped on one side as seen on the last picture. The bike, however, has one significant issue which prevents me from saying that it is in fully working order – the bond between crank arms is worn at the very end of left side which makes crank arm and pedal slightly loose, replacing it shouldn’t be a complicated thing to do. This bike is a perfect base for restoration if you don’t mind the small repairs and a bit of detailing but I think that this bike could also be a perfect decoration as it is an absolute classic and would look great on a bike shop wall or in a vintage-styled cafe. After getting some TLC it would make a perfect and stylish commuter bike as well. Questions and viewings are welcome and recommended, I can send some more pictures on request.
