Cube C-68 Litening Pro Blackline Road Race Bike (used, low mileage). Condition is Used.
I am selling this beautiful race bike as I am winding down my road cycling. The bike is perfectly well suited to regular road training, but I kept it for race events and did all my training on an old Triban. To my calculation the bike has done only about 650 miles total. This includes two century rides, two 70.3 triathlons and one full Ironman race.
I’ve made a few minor additions since purchase: I added Shimano SPD SL pedals, a couple of carbon fibre bottle cages and I switched up the tyres to Schwalbe One Road Tyres for lightweight racing and V-guard puncture protection (tyres have only done about 250 miles and remain puncture free). I’m happy to include all these extras in with the price of the bike. Depending on the buyer’s preference, I’d be prepared to throw in 2 x cube water bottles, a black kask vertigo helmet (large), a small saddle bag with a spare inner tube, CO2 canister and inflater.
RRP on this bike was £2,499 on release in late 2015 but came down to £2,000 when retail purchased in June 2016
As you can see, the bike is in great condition. There are a few scuff marks on the left handle and brake lever but these are superficial and don’t affect the function at all. Otherwise it’s looking and riding beautifully (admittedly I’m biased). It’s been kept in sheltered storage and was most recently serviced in June 2018 and has only been out for one sportif in the last year. Due to a change in personal circumstances I won’t be racing much in the next few years, so I’m keen to find a new owner who will continue to ride and enjoy this great bike.
