For sale is this Cube Peloton Race Road Bike in size Large (56cm). This frame size is recommended by Cube for people between 5’8” and 6’3” but this is just a guide and can be adjusted to fit people outside of that range. I am 6’2” and fits me well. It is in great condition and comes with excellent quality groupset and wheels.
It has an high quality aluminium frame and a carbon CLS fork. It is fitted with a full shimano 105 5800 2×11 speed groupset (excellent range of gears for all gradients and currently has a 11-32 cassette on the rear for additional help on the hills). It also comes with Mavic aksium wheels (excellent quality, light and stiff with bladed spokes and sealed cartridge bearings). Also comes with all cubes finishing kit including handlebars, stem, seatpost and saddle. It has brand new Vittoria zaffiro pro 700×25 tyres fitted.
Pedals have been transferred onto another bike, but I will fit some standard flat pedals before selling. Also included is an elite bottle cage.
The general condition of the bike is excellent. The frame has some very minor scratches but these are nothing structural and there are no cracks or dents and generally is in pretty mint condition. The components are all in good condition and full working order, but do have minor signs use (few scuffs to the shifters where the bike has been leant up). There is also a small tear to the right hand side of the saddle. All components function well and gear shifting and braking is all good. As can be seen- the bike has been very well looked after and serviced regularly.
The bike has been recently serviced which included new chain, new cassette and new brake pads and new tyres.
It would be ideal for someone looking to get into road cycling, for commuting or for any general road riding.
Collection is from Morden SM4 and cash on collection is preferred.
