Here we have an excellent example of the Cube Peloton SL Red. This is not to be confused with a regular Peloton model. I mean just LOOK at the spec. You have the 2nd tier 11 speed Shimano Ultegra RD-6800 Derailleurs, 105 5800 Shifters/Brakes/Crankset/Cassette which means this bike is packed with top end parts.
The gearing is perfect for just about wherever your ride takes you. The cassette features a 32 teeth lowest gear, which will really help when it comes to the hills. It makes pedalling easier so you can push a higher cadence to get to the top of the climb. It has a total of 22 gears with an 11-32 Casette and 50/34 Compact Chainset.
The Mavic Aksium S Wheelset (with colour coded decals) are a great upgrade for this bike. They’re fast,light, look cool and combine to make this a serious weapon of a steed for racing or training.
The tyres are Continental GP4000’s which are widely regarded as the best all round clincher tyre on the market. I’ve run these tyres myself for the last 10 years and I love them. Fast, great in all weathers and excellent puncture protection. They’re not cheap though so again they add to the excellent value of this bike.
I’ve just serviced the bike and put on some fresh Deda bar tape for the new owner. The brake pads have plenty of rubber left so this bike is ready to hit the road this weekend in total confidence. There are a few cosmetic marks on the frame but the overall condition is excellent.
