Giant Cadex CFR-3 road race racing sportive commuter bike – nice!
This is one of Giant’s first
generation alloy lugged, carbon fibre tube frames from early 90’s. It’s been restored
with lots of new parts but it’s not going to get used so needs a new home.
It’s ideal for all road riding or
even commuting – it’s been serviced and a new chain, cassette, tyres, brake
levers, handlebar tape and saddle fitted. The wheels are in great shape with
not a lot of use. It all works as it should and it’s ready to ride.
There are some small marks and scuffs
on the lauquer / paintwork and some light corrosion on some steel parts but as
you can see from the pictures it’s a stunning bike.

Transmission: 16 speed Shimano 105 with downtube
shifters, 51/39 chainset, 11-28 cassette.
Bakes: Shimano 105
Wheels: Campagnolo Omega rims, Shimano 600 hubs, new
Panaracer 700x25c tyres
Finishing
kit: Lightweigh alloy handlebar / stem / seatpost,
Selle San Marco saddle. Handlebar tape is new.
It will come with
basic pedals to get you going

centre to top) – top tube 54cm – It should therefore fit a rider 5′ 6” to 5’ 9”
