Selling a beloved Felt AR4 road bike, 58cm frame, loaded with upgrades and extras. Purchased this bike in 2012 for £3599 and have since upgraded the pedals (look pedals), wheels (ZIPP cost £800 slightly used 2nd hand), Specialized bars (for extra angle), Cube bottle holders x 2. Serviced annually and well cared for in between.
I purchased it for training and completion of an Ironman in 2013 but unfortunately since then it’s use has become less and less since starting a family and sad to say it has not been riden since it’s last service in November 2017! So looking for a new home where it will get the use it deserves!!
I am 6’1” with long legs which is why I have the saddle fully extended in the pictures and why I upgraded the bars for extra height. It will be suitable for someone between 5’10-6’2” in my opinion with the adjustments. Will come with all the original parts and any extras that you require at no extra cost shown in the final picture (inc. original wheels, pedals, bars, helmet, tri-bars, seat pouch and specialized foot pump!). Take as many or as few of these items that you require.
This bike is race ready with aero frame including aero seat post and ultra high modulus carbon used throughout the frame. Newly wrapped handlebars and all parts in keeping with the carbon fibre colour scheme of the bike give it a striking look!! Ideal for packing in the miles due to its ultra light weight and smooth ride, particularly since upgrading the wheels, OR for races such as triathlons or sportives.
Obviously due to its age it has minor scratches which I have showed a couple in one image but these are very few and considering it’s age it is in excellent condition due to the care it’s been given.
