As my Lycra wearing days are thankfully behind me, it’s time to pass on my low mileage, well serviced, good condition racing snake of a bike to someone who will use it and look better on it than me! The next bike I get on will have a big lump and require leather!!
It’s light, tight and everything works as it should. Unlike me! Not that I ever got to a speed to really test the breaks, they seem in good nick and there’s no rust, dents, damage or broken spokes.. on the bike that is. I fell off it once but landed in some stingers at T junction rather than on any concrete. Only my pride was hurt! There’s a couple of light scratches prob from moving it about the garage but it is a few yrs old now and had one previous owner I bought it off for about £500 I think.
Carbon front forks but I promise no wheelies were carried out intentionally to test them! Its been regularly serviced. It’s been kept in my garage not outside plus theres a box full of related extras, see photo, that comes with it. Incl pouches, 3 gloves, clip ons, inner tubes, tools and shoes etc. Shoes fit the pedals and are a size 10/44 I think. I need more substantial footwear from now on so it’s free with bike, keep or dump what you don’t need.
I’ve no idea where this bike stands in the “Bradley Wiggins” hall of fame and it prob won’t win you the Tour De France any time soon. But it looks the biz and the small amount I’ve used it, have been fun! Honestly..
Oh it’s got 2 beer can holders which I used a lot plus these a digital cat thing that measures distance speed cadence amongst other stuff. I think.
I’ve a matching Giro helmet which is quite good apparently (I think it was around a £100 new) at an extra cost if anyone wants. I get helmets are quite personal. I can deliver locally if needed.
Test rides not really ideal be unless you are good at giving backies and tyre kickers please go boot your own bike! It’s a road bike not a Ferrari so please be sensible and don’t waste each others time with daft tech questions. If it’s advertised it’s available!
Thank you.
