Felt F24 junior racing bike in excellent condition. Minimal use and bought from new (son has now decided he would rather have a mountain bike). Few light marks that are hardly noticeable unless you look for them – as shown in the photos. The F24 takes its cues from the adult F-series bikes. For the developing roadie, the Custom Butted 7005 aluminium frame and carbon fibre fork make this just as serious a bike as the other F bikes. Because this bike is intended for smaller riders, it is built around 24” wheels to give adequate standover clearance and responsive handling. We use short-reach bars and levers for small hands as well as top-mount brake levers to offer as much control as possible. You needn’t be big to get big performance.
SuperLite Aluminium Frame with Carbon Bladed Fork
The F24s Custom butted aluminium frameset is lightweight and stiff, providing excellent power transfer. The carbon bladed fork helps to reduce road buzz whilst maintaining responsive steering.
MicroSHIFT/Shimano Claris 8 Speed Groupset
The MicroSHIFT shifters are specifically designed to work with the short reach bars allowing smaller fingers to reach the brake/shift levers. Shifting is precise and consistent, right the way through the 8 speed cassette. The 155mm Felt K:1 chainset is fitted with 50/36 compact gearing, ready to tackle even the steepest climbs. Dual pivot brake callipers provide excellent braking power. A quick release lever aids installation and removal of wheels, for transportation or puncture repairs.
Alex/Felt 24″ Wheelset
Felt have taken a pair of Alex DA22 24″ rims and laced them to a pair of their R4 hubs, with sealed bearings throughout, to provide a fast and light road wheelset. These are wrapped in Kenda Koncept, 24 x 1″ tyres providing low rolling resistance on the straights and excellent grip in the corners.
Felt Finishing Kit
The Felt K:1 road bar and Superlight stem make for a lightweight but responsive front end. The finishing touch is a Felt SuperLite road seatpost and K:1 saddle.
