Description
The Z series is Felt’s most versatile road bike family. The 2014 Z Series is specifically designed to deliver just that. The frames use slightly taller head tube for greater flexibility in stem and bar position, as well as overall clearance, and benefit from improved vertical compliance from an enhanced cockpit layout. The Z Series bikes use a slightly longer wheelbase giving confident handling at any speed.
Fitted with Shimano’s new Claris components, carbon forks, and a compact chainset, the Z100 is a bike which performs well for the price. Built with Felt’s Superlite custom-butted 6061 aluminium tubing, the frame of the Z100 forms the heart of this performance road machine. The Z100 also features a pair of Alex’s R500 rims that are built on Felt’s alloy hubs. These offer a great combination that will provide you with a very strong and reliable set of wheels which should last you for many years. Felt has wrapped a pair of their own ‘All Weather PRB’ 700x25c tyres to these wheels, so providing exceptional grip in all weathers.
Felt have also used their inhouse components (bars, stem, and seat post) to complete the finishing kit for the Z100. This helps to keep the price point as low as possible, yet still provide you with high quality features and components.
