Sadly I must sell my Time trial bike as I need the money for university and am not using the bike as much as I should be and won’t need it once at uni.
This is a 2009 Focus Culebro Tria which has been used by me for just over a year, taking part in many races in Kent and being impressed by the ability of the bike. Bike radar reviewed the bike new (https://www.bikeradar.com/reviews/bikes/time-trial-and-triathlon-bikes/focus-culebro-tria-review-2/) calling it “An aerodynamic, comfortable and reasonably lightweight speed machine with some superb components. It’s ready to race out-of-the-box. If you want a lightweight triathlon bike or a beginners to intermediate time trial bike then this bike represents a serious bargain.”. The only difference between the reviewed bike and mine is that I have a modern set of Campagnolo Vento G3 wheels on the bike which I believe suit the bike better and are more comfortable for long distance rides.
I’m starting the bidding at an extremely low £150, making it a great competitor in the beginners TT/Tri bike scene.
The bike requires new inner tubes and a bit of tweaking with the gears, which can be done at an additional cost, but apart from that, it has recently had new brake pads and tyres put on it and is ready to ride! It has a cadence and speed sensor setup to a wireless cycle computer which works as it all should (will probably need reconnecting to each other however as it has been a while).
all in all, the bike has been well maintained over its 10+ years of use with only small scuffs apparent but nothing horrific to report.
