Here we have for sale my beloved Focus Izalco Pro Carbon Road bike. I’ve had many carbon racing bikes including Specialized Tarmac Comp, Specialized Roubaix Pro, BMC Team Machine & Trek Madone – all great bikes but this is my favourite ride out of all of them. Strong, lite fast & extremely comfortable despite the race geometry. I bought this as a used frame which is in fantastic condition aside of chain scuff (purely cosmetic) which can’t be seen as its behind the crank but I have pictured it. The frame is extremely striking & with full frame cable routing. I’m a qualified engineer with years of experience bike building – I’ve built it with new headset bearings, Dura Ace cables with in-line adjusters, 105 double crank with matching 10 speed derailleur (still has sticker over the ‘105’) & brakes/shifters (cables routed under the tape). It has Ultegra Calipers & front derailleur. It had a new 10 speed chain & rear cassette. It has deep dish carbon fibre Mavic Cosmic wheels (with aluminium braking surface). It has a ‘Team Edition’ Selle Italia Flite saddle (still needs breaking in). It has a Specialized Fact Carbon seat post with dampers. It has brand new unused BMC drop bars (taken from a top end Team Machine) with a Specialized S-Works Stem (with Carbon face & top cap). Since adding all this the bike has done maybe 100 dry miles. The handle bar tape is brand new & unused as are the matching Vitoria Corsa 25c tyres. This will feel like you’re buying a new bike!! Genuine reason for sale – I have two (4 & 8 year old) kids who now ride trails with me so my road biking days are gone for @ 12 years unfortunately so splashed out on a Mountain bike & need to sell my road bike & old mountain bike to fund it (check out my other listings).
