This fantastic retro junior road bike has been carefully returned to optimum condition with the addition of new Impac tyres, Raleigh tubes, new quick release seat post clamp, new gear and brake cables and housing, 5 speed chain and bar tape. Full specifications and details of restoration:High tensile steel 50cm frame and forks – cleaned, polished and touched up using colour matched enamel paint. Headset serviced. 26 x 1.25 steel Raleigh rims (made in France) and Sturmey Archer hubs – cleaned and polished, bearings serviced. NEW IMPAC RAPIDE 26 x 1.25 TYRES and NEW RALEIGH INNER TUBES – excellent performance on most hard surfaces including road, gravel and hard-packed dirt tracks (the tyres may need inflating upon arrival to between 28-55 PSI). Steel drop handlebars – cleaned and polished and taped with NEW WHITE GT BAR TAPE.Sturmey Archer alloy stem – cleaned. Sturmey Archer steel side pull caliper brakes – cleaned, lubricated and fitted with NEW BRAKE PADS, nice and springy. Junior Weinmann brake levers and Dia-Compe extension bars – cleaned and fitted with NEW BRAKE CABLES and NEW WHITE/BLACK CABLE HOUSING.Huret Eco Gear 5 speed rear derailleur – cleaned and serviced, fully functional. Steel Chainwheel and Crank 46T with 150mm cranks – cleaned and polished.14-26T 5 speed freewheel with protector disc – cleaned and serviced, ready for years of continued use. NEW 5 SPEED CHAIN. Original Raleigh trap steel pedals – cleaned and polished. ORIGINAL PADDED JUNIOR SELLE ROYALE WHITE SPORTS SADDLE, light signs of use. Chrome plated steel seat post – cleaned and polished.
