Giant Cadex 980 carbon framed road bike circa 1989.
These were one of the first commercially available carbon framed bikes on the mass market made by the renowned manufacturer Giant Bicycles.
Smooth, comfortable and light weight ride.
This example is in great condition and has a huge spec on this bike.
Frame is Carbon tubed bonded to alloy lugs 61cm.
Forks all alloy
A full Shimano 600 tricolour group set apart from front mech which is Campagnolo.

7 speed cassette 13-28
Shimano 600 brake levers and calipers
Mavic CXP22 rims on Shimano 105 cassette hubs 36h built with db black spokes. Shod with Continental gatorskin tyres.
Selle Italia saddle on SR seat post.
FSA headset (not the smoothest so may need replacing soon).
No pedals included.
There are a few age related marks on the frame, carbon in great condition with just the odd mark in the lacquer.
There is some small pitting marks on the alloy lugs here and there and some imperfections on the head tube.
Please study the photo’s where you can see some of these marks and the small ware marks to the components.

Overall a great bike which are now getting rarer from this great brand.
A rideable classic for little money these days.
