Here we have a great example of the Giant Defy 5. Just google “Giant Defy” to see they are legendary in the world of entry-level road bikes. They regularly win “bike of the year” and have the frame geometry perfect for long days in the saddle or putting the power down in a sprint.
I’ve just serviced the bike with new Bar Tape/cables and the bike has had a full safety check. The cassette features a 32 teeth lowest gear, which will really help when it comes to the hills. It makes pedalling easier so you can push a higher cadence to get to the top of the climb. The gears have been indexed so shifting is quick and precise. The brake pads have plenty of rubber left so this bike is ready to hit the road this weekend in total confidence.
In terms of condition I would say it is excellent. Its one previous owner has hardly ridden the bike and this is clear to see from the factory tyres/brake pads.
