Selling my Giant Defy 3 Aluxx in very good condition and seen very little use (less than 100 miles) – I never really took to road biking as soon realised I preferred off-road mountain biking. This has been sat in dry storage for a number of years, there is some deterioration to the seat and it would probably benefit from a service and/or the gearing wires tightening. There is one small chip as shown in the pictures and some markings on the cross bar although these are very faint and I suspect would polish out
Having said that it works perfectly and is a great ride – The Defy 3 was widely regarded as one of the best serious entry level road bikes you could get (I get a bit fastidious over researching things when I buy them!). I’ve accepted than it’s highly unlikely I’ll venture out on the road again so now selling this.
It is a “Small” frame so suits riders from 5ft 4″ to 5ft 8″ (1.62m -1.72) – I’m 5’8″ (on a good day) and it was recommended I went with the Small frame rather than the Medium as it’s a more comfortable ride and easier to handle.
I also have one new inner tube that will come with this sale.
