Condition is used but generally good for the bikes age. Collection only please I will not post so please don’t bother asking.
Giant OCR-1 Compact Road Bike. This is an allux frame with carbon forks and is in good condition for its age. A few upgrades such as saddle, headset, handlebar stem, peddles and seat post.
Handle bar tape is torn at one side as seen in photos but can be sorted with new handlebar tape available at most online retailers.
It is a L frame size, which is large. As seen in the photos top tube measures 56 cm. I am 6 foot and 75kg and suits me perfectly from a professional bike fitting. The seat post can be extended, so would probably be good for anybody taller than 6 foot and of course can be lowered.
Many of it’s original components with 27 gears. Main components are:
-Campagnolo Mirage front and rear brakes
-Campagnolo Mirage front and rear derailleurs
-Campagnolo Mirage front chain rings (9 speed EXA drive)
-Campagnolo Vento G3 Wheels front and rear
-Bottle Cage
-Shimano PD-6620 Pedals
-Selle Italian SL saddle
Group-set is the original and all Capnagnolo. Ideally all the break and gear cables should be changed as part of an overall service at a bike shop. It will then run like new. Shifting and indexing all works fine but there is a little delay after shifting due to grease and grime in the cables due to use over time. Breaks all work perfectly fine but again a service would be recommended.
Frame and forks all in good condition a few scratches and scrapes as seen from the photos. Also crank arms are marked from general use over the years. In summary, the bike and frame is not in perfect condition, but I think it is in great condition considering it’s age, ie usual scuffs/marks/scratches you’d expect due to use. No significant damage.
A great road bike.
