This is a very fast bike!!
Bought in 2020 during lock down and not used much – 2.8k tracked on Strava.

Colour
The frame has been ceramic
coated. Bike Ceramic forms a durable, ultra-slick layer of optically
clear ceramic. This ceramic protection prevents dirt and grime from bonding to
the surface, making dirt are far easier to remove, making ongoing maintenance
quick and easy.

The bike looks stunning in a very
striking scheme. I have tried to show how impressive this colour looks in the
photos.
The amazing reflective / 2 tone
shimmering effect of the decals really does look even better in the flesh and
in bright sunlight with the “giant” and “propel” on the tubes also being on the
wheels (the SLR slashes / stripes) which gives it a really spectacular look.

Cost much more today (can still
buy 2021 onwards from giant) and have less spec (wheels & bars)
Advanced 1 2021 = £3,500
Advanced 1 2022 = £3,700
You can get an Advanced 2 for
£3,000– but that does not even come with carbon wheels included!
Recent full service:
As you can tell the bike has been
well looked after and had a full-service complete end of last year and had no
expense spared.
Frame has been ceramic coated which means mud etc. does not stick to it and can be sprayed off easily.

Condition
Its done 2.8k miles.
I looked around it very carefully and its in fantastic condition. Please note that it has been used, so you will find the odd mark.
There was one stone chip to the paint, about a quarter of the size of a pinkie nail, but i put some blue chip paint on it.
It could pass for new – have a
look at that chain, jockey wheels, cassette, cranks, hoods, all great.
I took pictures from all angles –
this shows the fantastic condition.
Wheels – over £1,000 RRP!
The wheels alone (SLR 1) cost over £1,000 to buy. These wheels are amazing.
Read the reviews, they beat more expensive wheels. Light, stiff and at 65mm
rear and 42mm front they really come into their own when you get up to speed on
flat and rolling roads and due to the light weight are great for climbing.
Summary
Extremely fast bike, looks
amazing, low miles, available at a much lower price that If you are buying new
today.
Full service and parts means you
are future proofed for a while.
Absolutely no point in buying a new version when you can buy almost new second
hand and save yourself £1,500 +.
Bike will hold its price over the years as well, should you do what most of us
bike guys do, and constantly buy bikes that take your eye!
