Hetchins vintage racing bike frame 24″ refurbished Super Special 6 days road 531. Condition is “Used”. The frame was renovated by Catherine Neary and Dave Marsh at Universal Cycle centre Centre.It is rechromed in beautiful flambouyant ble and moss green.It has a few very small dents and a little frame pitting in the main triangle due to age but this is being over critical as the is a very nice finish but not perfect.It is a very rare Hetchins Super Special dated C1950.It is 24″C-T seat tub and 23″C-C top tube.Reynolds 531 double butted tubing throughout.Lovely vibrant curly rear triangle with Hetchins trade mark curly stays.Cast chater lea super special handcut lugs are filed into the tubes by the master builder.It has a very rare Hetchins 6 days fluted seat tube for close clearance and is only 382″wheelbase.Very few braze on’s this is a thoroughbred racing machine and very light and responsive in the hand.It has very elegant pencil seat stays and double plate track fork crown with round stays.Sadly it is too big for me and beyond my reachThe frame number is on the rear dropout .Collection only id preferred but I will post if necessary/Please feel free to ask any questions and please look at my other items for sale.I will post worldwide please ask for a price as costs differ worldwide.
