Lovely lightweight first road bike for your young rider. Frame size suits around age 8 to 12, depending on child size.
My boys both used this bike, briefly, then it sat in the garage for 6 years unloved.
It’s probably only done 30 miles maximum and deserves to go to someone who’ll get the passion for cycling.
It is a different experience from a classic kids bike. Thin low friction high pressure tyres and lightweight frame make for a bike which goes fast but has lots of vibration to get used to.
The good bits – hardly used. No scratches.
The bad bits – needs a bit of chrome cleaner and lubrication and 2 handlebar end caps. The rat trap pedals have no straps. – Good for youngsters getting a foot down quickly. Not so good for really fast riding.
