L’Eroica Raleigh Cadet road racing commuting bike – barn find
Nice vintage Raleigh road bike from the mid 1980’s that has been partially restored in the recent past and is in overall good order.
I’ve listed it as spares or repairs as it’s going to need some more TLC – I’ve ridden it down the road and it rides OK.
It has a decent steel frame and good condition 700c wheels and decent tyres (back tyre is new), and a good range of 12 gears and predictable Weinmann brakes.
The original paintwork is going to need some TLC as the damp has got to it in storage – I would make a good winter project.
The stem and seatpost move in the frame for height adjustment.
Size: 25” (measured centre to top) – this is a big bike and as pictured its right fir me and I’m 6’ 2” – you will need to be 6’ plus to ride it.
Collection only: Little Chalfont, Bucks, or I can meet you at Chalfont and Latimer station (Metropolitan or Chiltern line).
