Owned the bike from new around 8 years ago so I can say its never been crashed or dropped
Bought it from the store then used a couple time and got put in the garage where it sat until 2 years ago when I started riding
It was an 8 speed for 8 months or so then I upgraded to shimano 11 speed 105 groupset
Size small/medium which is 53
Full carbon fork
Aluminium frame
Weighs 9kg
drops to under 8.5 with my 60mil deep carbon rims
Added a shorter 90mm stem still have the original too
The chain is a couple months old
Wheel upgraded to vision 35s with conti gp4000 on rear 25mm
Conti race 23mm on the front
Can include flat pedals if you require a pair
Can include swap back to original stem if wanted
Bad bits
Couple of scratches iv tried to photo
Seat has a slight blue tint where my trousers have been
Handlebars could do with a re wrap as I did a bad job and for hygiene
Bar end cap missing

the frame is stiff and aggressive, it does balance this with reasonable comfort too. The semi-compact frame doesn’t expose as much seatpost as a more compact frame like the Giant, but the seatpost is a standard 27.2mm which combines with a good, own-brand saddle to insulate you from the worst effects of a stiff aluminium frame and potholed roads.
If you’re looking for speed on a budget you won’t be disappointed with the Merida – whether you’re after a high-end training bike or your first racing bike.
