Pinarello Dogma 2 road / race bike, 56 cm frame, immaculate condition, very rare.
This is a beautiful bike, and I’ll be really quite sad to see it go – I’ve absolutely loved owning and riding it, but with three young kids I’m not able to ride it enough to warrant owning such a special machine, so it’s time to pass it onto a new owner – this sort of bike simply must be ridden!!
It’s the exact same frame & fork that Wiggins won both the Tour de France and the Olympics on, as well as the bike of choice of loads of other pro riders and teams. It’s a true superbike of the cycling world, and is an absolute pleasure to ride, whether on the flat, cornering, or in the hills – it’s so much fun! The frame & fork alone originally sold for £4500, and the total for this full bike build was £7000.
I’ve owned it from new, I have only ever ridden it during summer months and in dry conditions, so very few miles done on it (I’ve got various other bikes, this has always been my pride and joy!) It’s always been stored indoors, and has been thoroughly cleaned and re-oiled after every ride, as well as fully serviced by a decent mechanic every 10-12 months. Since the last service it has only done around 30 miles, and during that service the wheel hubs were fully stripped down and serviced, it had two new tyres (Continental GrandPrix), new brake pads, new brake and gear cables. So, as ever, it’s in mint condition!
Check out reviews like this one for an overview (or just google search for Pinarello Dogma 2):
“What has Pinarello done to get this feel? Frankly, I think we’d all like to know, as would the company: it scores highly for stiffness, weight and even aerodynamics, yet there is something else too; an extra something.””The Dogma 2 is not only great in a straight line, it’s tidy around the corners too. With an oversized lower headset bearing – at 1 1/2in – it makes for a rigid front end that holds a line well, especially when really leaning on it. Combine this with the aerodynamics and stiffness and it makes for a truly inspiring first outing. As you can imagine, the pinnacle of the Pinarello range doesn’t come cheap, starting at £3,950 for the frameset and rising to £4,200 for the black on black with internal electric cabling.”

It’s a 56 cm frame, though due to the way that Pinarello set their geometry they tend to come up a bit bigger than most other brands (somewhere between most other brands’ 56-58 cm frames). I’m 6′, though it would also suit people a bit shorter and taller. I’ve included an image of the specific geometry within the images, that should give you most of what you require, though feel free to message with any other dimensions required.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions – very happy to discuss.
Ideally local collection, though we can discuss options of me dropping it to you or a courier if needed (courier would be approx £50 including packaging and insurance). Just get in touch with any Q’s.
Many thanks for looking!
