Carbon? Ultegra? Sub £400? What’s the catch!
No catch here.. Just a solid, lightweight high-end road bike. This guy was supposed to be restored for re-sale months ago, but I have been enjoying it too much.
It has a large 58cm frame suitable for a rider 5”10-6”3 (ish, I’m 5”9 and it’s fine for me…). As with all of our bikes, it’s been stripped and rebuilt using a brand new KMC chain, brand-new Shimano HG cassette (worth £50 alone!), brake pads, all cables, handlebar-tape and a Schwalbe G-One tyre-set. The parts and labour amount to a value of over £200 alone, so you’ll have the piece of mind you’re buying a machine that’s had serious love.
In its day, this was Focus’ highest-end road offering, coming in at over £1500. Due to the full carbon frame-set, Shimano Ultegra groupset, hollowtech bottom-bracket and sealed-bearing FSA headset.
