Here we have for sale a superb Raleigh AirLite 200 Road Racing Bike
This is in superb condition & is mechanically perfect having just had a full (Gold) strip & service using top quality Mobil XHP 222 marine grease (worth £150 alone) by myself (an expert bike mechanic, see last picture) with new rear wheel bearings, bottom bracket, chain, large chainring, cassette & brake pads being fitted.
Equipment wise it comes with excellent Shimano Sora STI shifters which work beautifully, high power dual pivot brakes with Shimano front & rear mechs (the shifting is superb) & a high quality finishing kit (bars,seat,seatpost & stem) & good quality sealed bearing pedals which all adds up to a great package which is excellent value for money.
The bike benefits from having a fully degreased drivetrain & chain which has been hot wax/PTFE dipped which unlike oil stops all the gunk build up, chainring tattoos & prevents premature drivetrain wear due to chain oil mixing with grit & turning into a grinding paste.
The bike has super lightweight aluminium frame tubing, carbon fibre aero forks & durable double wall Nova Ultimate Power wheels with quality smooth hubs which run true & tight with high quality Schwalbe Marathon Plus anti puncture fast rolling tyres.
The frame size is 56cm (large) which has racing style geometry. The bike rides beautifully & wants for nothing, you won’t be disappointed & will not find a better example at this price rest assured.
It has a 11/28 cassette & 50-34-172.5 chain set which is geared for great climbing ability mixed plenty of speed on the flats.
Every bike which goes through my workshop is subject to a vigorous 10 mile road test to ensure perfect performance & reliability so you can buy with complete confidence.
I can supply & fit a set of reflectors & a bell for this bike at no extra cost if required (just ask).
