I am selling my beloved workhorse of a road racing bike, the Raleigh Avanti Race. This has served me loyally over the years, London to Brighton, many laps of Richmond Park, trips to Box Hill, etc. Really is a nice smooth bike to ride, and hasn’t given me any problems. Selling because (1) I’ve since moved to the Netherlands, (2) want to buy a new one next year, and (3) the frame is just a tiny bit too big for me (would suit 6ft+) which is fine for shorter laps of Richmond Park but I can feel it on the longer trips.See 4.5 star reviews at BikeRadar.com and Bikelist.co.uk. Bike is still valued at £650 on Bikelist website.
