Raleigh Clubman 531 Road Racing Bike Vintage 1983 Campagnolo components Brooks.
Very original 1983 Raleigh Clubman, claret paintwork.
Reynolds 531 steel frame, gold hand painted lug lines.
Worksop lightweight – WK3000351, confirms date of manufacture July 1983.
Campagnola twin gear levers, front and rear dérailleurs. (980).
6 x 2 gears, front 52 – 42. Rear Suntour 13 – 24.
SR Super Custom alloy cranks, 170mm long. (No pedals included)
Weinmann drilled brake levers, with quick release.
Weinmann centre pull caliper brakes, model 610 front & rear short cage.
Brooks Competion leather saddle, copper rivets, treated with Brooks Proofide.
Alloy Weinmann rims, 17 x 630 made in Belgium, fitted with good 27″ × 1 1/4″ tyres.
Maillard alloy hubs dated ’83.
Alloy stem and handlebars which I believe still have the original black cloth tape.
Saddle post SR Laprade fluted alloy.
New brake inner and outer cables recently fitted.
Original lightweight mudguards are also included.
Good original condition, recently used on 50mile + rides.
This is lovely bicycle, which I bought a couple of years ago because it was so original. Unfortunately it is a tad too big for me, so makes sense to let it go.
In my ownership the bike has been fully serviced, lubricated, cleaned and polished.
