Vintage Raleigh Racing Bike 1’988 Corsa. 54.5cm or 21″
This is a 1988 Raleigh Corsa Road Bike from the 1988 Lightweight range.
The bike has had one owner.
It still has its original paint, parts, groupset and wheels etc New cables have been fitted aswell as new tyres and tubes. I had all of the original decals remade, they are 100% accurate in design and position. There are two small nicks in the original Raleigh embossed saddle as in pic but could easily be filled.
The bike now has the original frame fit pump. TA bottle cages and Twin Black bottles fitted as it originally left the bike shop with in Nottingham. Some of the pics do not show this but I didn’t want to get it out in this weather just to take the extra pics.
This really is a beautiful rare bike. It was only made for one year with the brand new rare Shimano Exage Sport SLR groupset with Biopace chainset and V rims and new michelin tyres and tubes.
The tubing is Reynolds 531. I have touched the frame up in places but it is very minimal. It did not need any rust treatment as the paint had not gone through just very minor chips. These are really minor but better treated then left.
I don’t believe you will find another and certainly not in this condition.
I would prefer collection but I may courier this if you organise it yourself as I do appreciate you might want to buy it but are not living on my door step.
