This amazing bike has been forgotten about since 1991. It’s been stored away under a bed, totally dry, frozen in time!
It was bought for me when it was just a couple of years old, but it was slightly too big for me at the time. My Dad took the wheels, handlebars and pedals off and put it under the bed in a spare bedroom. Fashions changed, I bought a mountain bike and this lovely old Equipe got forgotten… until now.
It’s in time warp condition, totally original and totally complete. The chrome is superb, the paintwork is typical of a bike that’s only had 2 years of careful use… excellent! Still has its original seat although it has the usual corner damage.
Just needs a good polish, some oil and grease, new handlebar tape and reassembling, to make a beautiful, fully original 80’s racer. There can’t be many like this one.
I’d much rather it was collected in person, but I am prepared to get it couriered, in a few different parcels, as its already stripped down.
