Raleigh Flyer Retro Eroica Road Race Bike. Condition is Used but in vgc for its age especially the frame that has no dents and only minor scratches and the odd sticker pealing. Please study the pictures carefully as I have tried to take clear HD quality pictures so you can see what your buying. I have done a small amount of research via ebay and seen a massive price difference ranging from 45 – 345 for these bikes depending on its condition hence the starting bid price for this.
From what I can see its almost all original including the wheels and that’s rare to see these days.
It’s been dry stored for at least the last 10 years since my friend has owned it and all I have done is given it a quick wash. I will try and check the gears over this week and see if they work OK but due to its age and lack of use the tyres are not the best so I’m not keen on riding it, this will be down to the buyer to replace with the brand they prefer. I have seen people put modern wheels etc on these old bikes to make them ride nicely and for strength but due to it having the original ones on I will leave that to the winning bidder.
The bike will need or I suggest a good service if its going to be used but like I say this reflects in the start price.
