Here we have a very nice Raleigh Flier road bike.It’s a small framed bike – 20″ (51cm) from the crank centre to the top of the seat tube,so is suitable for a smaller person.The frame is made of 18-23 steel, so the whole bike is relatively light weight too.From what I can see, it was made around 1981, and has hardly been used. I think it was used briefly, and then put to one side.The tyres have a good tread and both hold air well, but the side walls are cracking up.The wheels run well quite true; the front wheel’s bearings has been re-greased and re-set.There are some small signs here and there of slight corrosion, but nothing to bother about.The gears have be checked and re-set, and work as they should.Brakes are Weinmann side pull and work well; cables have been lubricated and adjusted.
