Raleigh Flyer vintage retro road bike. Race bike. Medium/large frame would suit rider a few inches either side of 5’10”
This was my main bike until about 10 years ago when I bought a new one. It’s languished in my garage ever since. I always planned to return it to its original glory but never got round to it.
I’ve listed it as a project but it could be cycled away, it all works (with the exception of the front derailleur which just needs cleaning and greasing).
With the current fashion for nostalgia in road and race bikes, this would be a fantastic project for somebody who could give it the time and attention it’s refurb would require. ‘As new’ bikes like this sell for hundreds! I think it’s all original apart from one wheel.
I’ve tried to show everything in the photos but if you want to see anything else, please ask. The bike is sold as seen so contact me if you want to inspect before bidding.
Unfortunately this bike has to go so I’m starting the auction at 99p with no reserve so happy bidding!
