I have for sale today a ladies vintage road racing bike. The bike is made by Raleigh and is the Medale model.
This twin top tube style of bike is known as a mixte.
This style of bike is very popular in London, as well as the university towns of Oxford and Cambridge.
This bike has 5 speed Sachs Huret gears which are operated by a shifter near the handlebars.
The bike has steel wheels which are nice and clean. The tyres both have good tread.
The bike is gold and black in colour with marks/scratches here and there due to use and age. As this is a used bike, there may be parts/screws which show signs of corrosion. This would not affect the workings of the bike in any way.
I own and run Steves Bikes where I service and repair bikes, I have used cycles for sale along with new and used parts. This bike is all working and ready to ride as it is.
This bargain bike is ready to ride, and would be a great bike for leisure or the journey to work.
This is a nice clean example of a vintage Raleigh bike.

All of our pre-owned bikes come fully CHECKED OVER, Any bike that is collected from us comes with a 2 WEEK parts and labour, back to base warranty.All bikes posted out are subject to Distance Selling Regulations, which allow you to cancel the purchase within 7 working days after the day you receive the item. If returning a bike, it must be done so at the buyers cost and must be packaged to the same standard as it was recieved in.
Please be aware that you are buying a used bike that can be anything from a few months old to several years old, so the bike might not be as shiny and rust free as you had envisaged. Digital photography can make a bike look nicer in the picture than in the flesh. (This is why I prefer buyers to collect rather than having it despatched) so they can view and be happy with their purchase!
We do not always get time to clean the bikes, so the bike may have a bit of dirt/mud/dust on it, this is all free and we will not charge you for it !!!
Postage and PackingCourier Delivery [available only on certain bikes]I am willing to despatch the bike via courier to UK mainland destinations. The price quoted for delivery is inclusive of packaging and the time needed to disassemble the bike to fit in a bike box. Disassembly will usually consist of removing one or both wheels. Removing the pedals (usually turned inside the pedal cranks). Loosening the handlebar to turn side ways (or some cases removal of the handlebar and stem). The bike is couriered on the understanding that you are able to reassemble the bike when you have received it (or know a person who can!). As it is quite time consuming (and expensive!) for you and for me to send items back I only accept returns if you contact me first and no other solution can be reached. I do not pay for return postage and if a refund is required this is minus the original courier fee.There are many reasons why delivery can fail (normally a idiot courier)that are beyond our control but we will do everything possible to get the package to you.IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THESE TERMS PLEASE DO NOT BUY
