For auction is a made up (custom), single speed steel Raleigh framed bike built up into a 1930-1950’s Path Racer style.
The bike is in good working order and features a coaster back pedal rear brake, front hub drum brake, steel rat trap pedals, steel 1950’s cotter pin chainwheel, rubber or thick plastic Mattress sprung saddle and modern 700 ally rimmed wheels.
This is a used bike and has some marks, paint chips etc.
Specification
Frame – Raleigh 1980-90 steel 18-23 tubing, seat tube centre of bottom bracket to top of top tube is 21in (53cm), top tube centre to centre 22.5in (57cm)
Front Brake – Sachs steel drum new hub, Rear Brake – Falcon Coaster
Wheels – 700c
Tyres – 700×35 Schwalbe rear, 700×32 Kenda front
Please note…………This is a coaster braked bike so will need a different riding technique to that of a normal or fixie bike.
The photos show the bike with seat post set up for a person with a 32in inside leg (5ft 10in tall)
Collection is welcome from the UB3 area (near Heathrow) or a meet up can be arranged at London Paddington train station or a local underground tube station near UB3.
